Umm Wheres the massively multiplayer part? The Auction house or the ugly avatars? What about PvP, can we crush the other cities with an army or police force and steal their resources?

It's a tycoon/building game not empire building.

Btw I cant see anywhere on beta site saying NDA is lifted?

The avatar creation part is dumb, and no matter how hard you try, they still look freakish.

The city part is decent, although could use a lot of work. But it's mostly SimCity.

I just can't see any one paying a subscription for this. No good reason to do so. Another game that could really benefit from RMT.

after reading your comments in previous articles it sounds you like you think every game could benefit from RMT. might i suggest leaving NA and moving to southeast asia?

I remember when RMT was viewed as an evil.. now everyone thinks free to play will somehow save their game?

"MMO reviews are bad mmmkay"?

An interesting statement coming from the editor of a site that does nothing but review mmos.

I'm curious to know the reasoning behind that statement, even if it was tongue in cheek.

If the NDA has been lifted then I can say "Ugliest avatars eva" and "The MMO part of this is a chat window while you play a single player game.

Meh.

I can agree with this the avatar is horrible with a side of ugly sauce. Also trying to get this off my computer was rough. It froze up my weekly virus scan. McAfee. Also when trying to delete the files from the PC it locked me out of removing it. It honestly took me a few days to get it totally off my computer. But I have to agree it felt like playing sim city with a chat room attached.

The MMO part is trading in game, visiting other cities and socializing. It's different than most MMOers are used to but I think it's a welcome addition to the scene and I WILL be paying the monthly (which is much less than typical monthlies).

Well, i got in the Beta by the Massively key giveaway. Can you confirm that Beta is lifted? I don't saw anything about it in the forums? Maybe lifted for the press?

Well anyway, i can see this game getting subscribers. They need to improve slightly the social aspect. Improve the trade tool, and they should get a Guild mechanic in the game with several benefits for the game.

Besides that the game only needs some minor improvements and changes in the city builder aspect.

Oh, and something happened to me while playing this game that didn't happen in a long time: i got addicted to it. :)

I think it actually sounds quite interesting. I don't know if I'd pay to play it, but it does hold some appeal.

Just so everyone knows, the NDA has been lifted for press only.

I am sorry everyone the NDA has only been lifted for the Press. Not for the players. :) Sorry if some of you got your hopes high for a second... ;)

I hope they stay in beta for a few more months, because the game still needs serious work. For example, all the fuel resources get eaten up early on and people trade it at huge costs.
Also, the interface is really clunky, and the avatars are uuuugly.

Wow. This really makes me regret missing the beta-giveaway here on Massively. Sigh.

Looks like it could be interesting, especially if they continue to build the social aspects of the games. Guilds (governments?) for players for one.

Did you change the images for the avatar creation section? I could have swore this post had even worse looking avatars the first time I saw it.
