Quit playing Guild Wars and install a more new game was not one of the options :(

To be honest, I am not quite sure why I should vote really. There is not much detail about the chosen adventure/task that has been completed, more or less only "ok, I have now done A, what should I do next, X, Y or Z?"

No detailed diary of what happened when trying to do A, pictures, descriptions etc. Without more details, why should I care voting or reading?

The gallery included in the post shows the progress from last week's vote, starting from here: http://www.massively.com/gallery/choose-my-adventure-guild-wars/2089229/ This has been an ongoing thing each week, but I forgot to point it out specifically for this post. My apologies.

Wow.. I just ran Riverside Province and Sanctum Kay over lunch today, I'm at Augery Rock now debating which of the 3 missions to hit first and contemplating builds for my assassin for each, I think my heroes are pretty stout in their current builds.. stout enough for me to leave them alone and down the sand wurm's with my Speed 'Sin build as long as there are no 'chant strippers nearby.

@ Jed, well he's pretty much sticking to Prophecies, which is the first game. Personally I enjoy it but it does have limitations some people either like or hate (Heavy use of instancing, Heroes & Henchmen, etc..) I like it cause it's easy to pick up and should I have to get up for some reason I know my heroe's and henchmen can likely handle the situation well enough until I get back. The storyline's good (but isn't nearly as impressive as the stories in other games) however to fully experience that story you'll need Prophecies, Nightfall, and to a lesser degree Eye of the North. (Factions has it's own self-contained storyline really)

The screenshot is pretty amusing for an MMO blog, really.

"Hey, here's a shot of me and four of my AI... Ummmm... Friends!"

Stereotype successfully perpetuated.

While rarely done, you can party with other people in Guild Wars ya' know. Make it kinda-sorta vaguely like an MMO and not a single-player game with towns that act as 3D (sort-of) chat rooms you only really stop in to reset any DP, empty your bags and/or pick up new henchies/Heroes.

Hell, have a contest, there must be enough GW players amongst the faithful here who'd enter and the winners (or losers, depending) could party with you for a mission or whatever.

True true.. the final mission of Nightfall I ran with a full group, however it sure was nice having my heroes and henchmen along the way when nobody was wanting to do missions.

Shawn shuster,

Is there any way you can post the pictures and commentary within the main article as opposed to the gallary section? It would make for a better article to those who are unfamiliar with the format of these "Choose my Adventure" columns.

Right now it reads rather plainly and gives us very little motivation to vote. Don't leave all the commentary exclusive to the pictures. Share some insights and opinions of the quests and missions you've done.

not a bad idea... while this is likely not the place to go into the intricacies of mission strategy and builds used, a general opinion piece on what was done and the difficulty therein may not be bad, especially for those that don't know GW. I was in the GW beta and have played it off and on since then, so far the articles seem slightly more aimed at the long time "in the know" player as opposed to the fresh face who doesn't know what a totem axe is or why one would even want one.
