The bubble spell seems awesome. I've not played Darkfall, frankly I was pretty turned away from it because of a lot of the drama surrounding it's release, as well as some facets of the gameplay. But that bubble spell makes me want to try it.

You were turned off by the drama and the gameplay, but a bubble makes all the difference...?

Never under-estimate the appeal of big black balls

The original sender means by

"...that's a big problem considering the changes to how you can skill up magic now (long story short: it's a lot more annoying now)," is: "Now I actually have to be at my computer to level up my skills instead of AFK macroing. *pout*"

@Havok: Well it's not only that there are differences in what skills stuff up as well. Before you could use certain spells on yourself and gain skill ups and that is removed which makes the gap huge between people that got to do that and didn't. It's harder for the newcomers than it was for the guys who started at release.

Ninogan is totally right about this. The change has left a huge gap between the guys who started and the ones who are just coming into DFO. But like Ninogan said it's still a lot of fun.
