No idea, it doesn't sound like my kind of game, but the screenshots are nice.

It's a city builder (like Sim City) but with an optional MMO part (where the city is saved online and you can trade with / visit other cities).

I just figured out what bothers me in those screenshots.

They are beautiful don't get me wrong... but there is a TON of foliage missing. I live in Atlanta, and you can drive around anywhere downtown and see trees all over the place. On street corners, in mediums, overhanging sidewalks.

There "trees/bushes/plants" that I see in the screenshots is almost nothing.

Anyone else agree/disagree with my observation on "RL" cities?

Maybe it doesn't look like Atlanta, but it doesn't mean you couldn't make a city that did. The screenshot could be any number of cities I've visited. Parts of Prague look like that, for instnace.

With all the user-generated content for Simcity 4 you could make pretty much anything you wanted. Most of the MMO aspects of Cities XL have me really excited to play (fingers crossed for beta) but if there isn't a robust enough base for users to create buildings and other assets I don't see why I should quit Simcity 4.
