With empty t1 and t2 areas i never got to 25 where i'd be able to play this content. This wont get any new players bring back anyone who never made it out of t1-t2 zones. They need to find a way to pack newbie areas with folks and have them level faster to end game if this is the way they are making content.

It's just impossible to pack beginner zones. Look at WOW and how deserted it is. Maybe if they gave an XP bonus, but even then it won't really boost numbers that much.

"What about a mechanic where bosses only drop loot usable by classes that form the instance group?"

THIS. A million freaking times this.

You can't beat wasting two hours on a Crypts run only to get NOTHING that anybody in the group can use.

2 hours to do Crypts? I agree that the mechanic suggested above would be great, but seriously it shouldn't take that long to run Crypts at all. Wait 'til you try Tomb of the Vulture Lord, ugh...now that would be a real wasted effort.

"More grind for the grind god!"
This made me smile.

Not to sound like a bitter old WAR vet (though I am one), but I just have to deride Sigils increasing the visual 'flavor & diversity' of characters - WAR doesn't believe in visual diversity and features only one flavor per class.
Much like PvP influence rewards and the like, these changes allow nothing more than number shuffling on the same one-to-two top armor skins per class.

If the ancient Land Of The Dead can be strewn with such IP abominations as guns "of Nagash" (!) conceptually made of freakin' rock (!), I think a team as creative as Mythic have sufficient freedom to stretch to something more exciting to play for in T4 than maths.

if you cant get to t3 WOW! never took me more than a week to get a toon to t3. seems like a personal prob.

I get pissed off just reading this sentence, since our group of six did Saccellum Dungeon a couple days ago, and of the 5 armor set pieces that dropped - NOT A SINGLE F-ING ONE WAS USEABLE TO OUR GROUP!!!!! EQ2 has been doing this for years - it isn't a difficult code to implement, and its not like we didn't earn the stuff - we killed all the bosses in the dungeon!

But with so much other stuff in the game showing just really aweful coding (hello slow as hell and clunky mailbox and AH, which even FTP Runes of Magic can get right!!!), all I can ask is that this change be pushed into the top 10 please.

Nothing like PvEing for loot in a PvP game, eh? The PvP route to gear is far too slow, so unless you're playing an ungodly amount of time in RvR, you're going to be running dungeons as well... which is a big problem because WAR's endgame dungeons are dull, and the instancing means that you can't substitute people if someone can't make it/already has the gear from one wing/whatever.

As for the LotD PvP... since the class balance changes were gutted from 1.3, I imagine it will be just like PvP is now: a broken mess with a handful of god classes which 80% of the players will gravitate to.

Mythic is concerned that people use the same armor? Perhaps they should be concerned that people play the same classes. Besides, WAR's character customization is awful - everyone will look the same regardless.
