I just ARed Oskar about the fence. Not only is it a deliberate provocation (him acting with contempt towards resis did not help his case) have you noticed the smoke coming from ppl as they walk away?

This just exemplifies that Lindens don't spend enough time inworld, really, it's not funny for people who will lose time and money over this issue due to Linden Lab not really having a clue on how to manage this issue.

Things have changed on the ground.

Has Linden stepped back from the ledge?

Yes, he tore it down (I am guessing he was told to) yesterday and replaced it. The pink butterfly on the end is mine: he asked for ones.

I think this was funny.

If you think that looks like a concentration camp, you should read better both your History book and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_Law

If I'm going to condemn in public, then I need to praise in public, as well. Today I read that there was now a "garden wall" where the electric fence used to be. I teleported back to the Age Verification Testing Site to check it out and found that it is true. The hostile build of barbed wire has been transformed into a welcoming half-wall of warm brick, festooned with lovely flowers and butterflies. Oskar Linden, the architect of both these builds, old and new, was present. In fact, it was quite the Linden "party," with Kona, Mick, and Ray also in attendance. I made a point of thanking Oskar for the change, and he conversed pleasantly with me and everyone else there. Overall, it was a complete 180 from my previous visit; for that, I thank Tateru, Oskar, and anyone who helped to make this turnaround possible.

I think you probably should talk with the people that are working on the slapt.me wiki in case they aren't aware of the change in behavior of Oskar (I haven't checked there yet)

Darn, I wish I hadn't been so lazy and missed the version of Oatmeal with the fences an' all; I gather it's gone now. It *must* have been a joke, though, or more accurately a kind of self-parodying satire. The only other possibility is someone really seriously in need of help...
