Massively's European Aion beta key giveaway

Ok I'm confused (not hard, I know).

Yes, if you go to the EU site, you get the news about this beta test:

However, the same news appears on the US site:
http://www.aiononline.com/us/news/general_news/first_aion_beta_test_weekend_s.html

I'm not doubting Massively are correct in saying this is EU-only, however isn't it a little misleading of NCSoft to have the very same information on their US site as well?

If I was reading only their site, I'd strongly believe that a 'US' player would be able to be a part of the activities that begin "after E3 2009, opens June 5, 2009 and runs through June 7, 2009."

You're sure it's EU only, right? ;p

Sadly the keys will only work for Eurozone players.

Wikipedia says the UK isn't a member of the Eurozone. What's up?

According to an NCSoft community manager over at Aionsource.com (too lazy to look up exactly which post, you'll have to trust me or look it up yourself, two or three days ago), if you can speak the language feel free to sign up. The betas have been going out to all sorts of gaming news sites all over the 'net.

And I didn't get in any of 'em. That's what I get for actually doing my job at work today... oh well.

Aionsource.com currently has beta keys, it doesn't say it's for EU players only so I'd check there when the forums come back up at 5pm CST.

Long time members have a better chance of getting a key and if you haven't flamed the boards lately..... ^_^;;;

Hey guys, I had emailed long before the post's been closed (05/29/09 09:53PM) but still didn't get the key, has anyone got it already or will we have to wait till Wednesday?

Actually, never mind my last comment, I just read the keys went out in 2 hours (around ~04:45PM), so I guess my mail at 09:53 was too late. Sorry for that, and good luck to everyone who got into the beta! :)
