Honestly though you face a harsh beginning in any game that is so pvp heavy and on a single server. BTW are there many out there like Eve? hehe Whats makes Eve amamzingly different is that it is a SOCIAL game. To all the twits that cry rivers of tears about how, their hands aren't held by the game, I would ask did you try talking to anyone? This can also be asked another way. Did you only talk and cry with other new players?
I have been playing Eve for almost 2 years now, and I find things to become upset about all the time. Sometimes the devs have come up with a new way to make life miserable, or it might be another player corp/alliance trying to take the the devs spot for my ire. This is where that mysterious thing, rarely found in other games, comes shining to the forefront like a beacon of hope. FRIENDS. Eve is not a game to played solo, and while it can be, I truly don't think you have played Eve until done so from a player run organization. This is where the new pilot should go to learn the depth that is Eve. Many people expect the game to teach them and it can't, and like all things in life we seek out friends to help in those situations. If you can't make friends, don't play Eve. Nuff said, fly safe.

I've been reading about what most of you posted.
well i have reached a conclusion. Go back to WoW ... EvE may not be suited for the likes of most of you.
If you can't get used to the game fast then it's your problem.
it's not a soft game, it never will be. So quit whining.
