the only reason i can see as justification for ads in games, is if the games are distributed free. ET:QW really pissed me off with the in-game ads, because you had already paid money for the game AND the servers were being hosted by third parties. It was a blatant greed move. I stopped playing ET:QW because of it, and I will be very reluctant to buy Activision games in the future.
