Between the resounding success of last year's Iron Man film and the fact that power armor is a wholly fresh set of superpowers in Champions Online, we've had a feeling that they're going to be very popular come launch day. This new trailer for the game does nothing to change our minds, in fact if only solidifies the original assumption.
Not that legions of power armor wearing superheroes are a bad thing. On the contrary, we welcome our new armored masters. It's pretty hard to resist things like shoulder mounted mini-guns, micro rockets, energy shields, laser eyes and repulsor beams. The temptation is so strong, actually, that we're not sure how much longer we can sit here and write this post before our brain shuts down and... and... brraaainss...
Uh, wait. What were we saying? Something about Iron Man... damn him and his armored cranium. You can find a video something or other past the link.

"Next time, bring a bigger tank!" Love it!
But just release it when it's a good, solid game - don't rush it! :)

That is so freakin' awesome. They could make that the only super power and it would kick major ass.

I've been fooling around with this powerset in Beta. I guess I'm not supposed to say that. But it's very nice.

Well that was the only thing that intrigued me enough to actually want to try it.
I wonder how difficult it is to enter the beta?
