Rules / Laws that are not enforced often do more damage than the presence of the negative behaviors they are intended to address. They leave the problem unmitigated, while undermining the credibility of those who are charged with their enforcement.

If Linden Lab fails to 't pursue this battle of enforcement quickly and vigorously, they may ultimately win the war, but find their slow / inept response causes far more damage to the SL economy than the bot usage they have stated is unacceptable. LL are you listening?
