I have to agree with Havoc. I think that unfortunately, however "finished" they think they release the game, in a week or so after launch, there'll be a bunch of guys complaining about the lack of endgame content and another bunch about how broken feature X is... I have no illusions on this. Maybe it's time devs and players lost theirs too ?

Also, green don. About Going RoGUe ? Champions doesn't even have villains gameplay to begin with. So, switching sides ? Right...

Neododge,

I would not be surprised at all if Paragon studio's revelation of the Rogue expansion had an effect on the delay of Champions Online. If fact I'm willing to bet they are hard at work in trying to implement a similar "rogue" feature.

Delays are good. AoC, WAR, HG:L... These are just names from the recent past that have taught us this. Whether they can delay it long enough is still to be seen.

It is worrying that Cryptic seems incapable of seeing how much work the game needs though. Didn't they just announce the July release date recently?

Didn't they just announce the original release date like 2 weeks ago?

Cryptic has more to lose from releasing too early than from releasing too late. This was a good decision.
