For the last few years Thom Terrazas has been the producer for Vanguard -- we interviewed him in that role only a couple of months ago. Now, with EverQuest's former producer Clint Worley moving on, Terrazas has stepped up and taken the reigns. Although some might already be familiar with him, he has introduced himself properly over at the EQ Dev Blog, where he explained that this won't be his first involvement with the venerable EverQuest. He was one of the first GMs on the Tunare server way back in the day, so he certainly has some old-school credibility.
Most people would agree that Terrazas has done a fantastic job at improving Vanguard, and he will probably continue to perform well in his new position. This does leave one big question though: who is taking over as producer of Vanguard? We haven't heard any news from the Vanguard team about their producer departing. Is it possible that Terrazas is doing some uber multi-tasking?

considering how little support SOE gives Vanguard, I doubt this will be much of a stretch :)

How about the non existent support SOE have given Planetside in the last 3 months too, over run with hackers and no post from Enrico in 3 months.
Now we find he has moved to EQ.
SOE games, dont subscribe.

Your article stated that Terrazas had "done a fantastic job at improving Vanguard" ..Actually nothing could be further from the truth.. He was mostly non existant ..He shared his producer title with Planetside and was rarely ever seen in Vanguard, except for the odd producer's letter...

i remember this guy from his old days as a manager in soe support.
this guy knows one way to manage, documentation and consequence. with him, its not about "lets do a good job", but rather, more about "do a good job and i might not have you fired". every day, in a relentless manner.
i had friends that worked for that guy back in the day. they all hated life having to work for him.
i worry about eq now for sure.
