Gratz Virtual Ability. It is wonderful to see an organisation that caters to the disadvantaged prove it's worth.

Wikitecture I dunno about, how are you storing revisions to the model would be my question? Surely you are not using copybot to scan the item every x minutes/hours and store the file? If not, how would be an interesting article. Without doubt!

If you check their website they use a scripted rezzer that provides scripted prims, that can report their location to a server. I've used a system like that before for archiving build versions as I go.

However, the original series of copybot (1.1) is still used by a lot of folks doing collaborative building - particularly corporate teams (as long as it isn't very complex - copybot can't handle a lot of new features).

Lots of people keep saying that. When they show me a copybot 2.0 or a copybot 3.0 it's just a copybot 1.1 with the name changed.

Nuh, No copybot 2.0 just new features on the old version. The SVN code is fully exposed and compilable by anyone with a modicum of knowledge.

They also have the compiled versions if you are lazy.

Still no protected scripts and still no protected animations. Unprotected animations, like you get from Bits and Bobs sure, but don't expect to see Sine Wave dances in OpenSim.

That's just libMV and supporting programs. No copybot there.

Heh, It's in the examples folder Tateru, called testclient.exe

Yep. testclient is copybot.

Ah, I see the error. No. Testclient isn't copybot. It's certainly not the copybot to which most people refer. Copybot *did* include quite a bit of testclient's code, but that's not the same thing.

It's true that testclient has about as many content copying features as the SL viewer, but calling it copybot would be quite erroneous.
