Been hoping to hear some more details on Issue 15? Well, true believers, your wait has ended! Earlier this morning, the newly rebranded Paragon Studios (formerly NC NorCal) announced their plans for Issue 15, aptly titled Anniversary! Along with some improvements to the Architect system introduced in Issue 14, I15 brings with it a new Fifth Column Taskforce; and not just the exact same one for Heroes and Villains, either. While the story arcs are based on the same premise, they will be told from different perspectives, thus giving the Villains some of that unique content they've been asking for.
In addition to this, the Paragon Studios team is adding in a series of costume-changing emotes for players, supplementing the ones recently introduced in the Magic super booster. Also, for those of you who are as addicted to the character creation part of the game as we are, there are 20 new faces to check out. This, of course, ensures that several people will be heading for ICON, and perhaps even dusting off a costume change Veteran reward token for a makeover. (Like we really need an excuse for that!)

2 task forces and some costume & arcitech additions? My god, I thought that when NCLost added all this staff, issues were going to be twice as big & twice as often. It's the exact oppisote.
They take twice as long, w/ half the additions.
Meh... I only come back for reactivation free time anyway. But, I'd think w/ CO looming, they'd be releasing the biggest OMG issue they could muster to combat it. I guess another approach is release minimal content, and wait for the "shiny" to wear off, and hope to gain a resurgance with a big update later.

JP, has your account actually reactivated? I was looking forward to trying this game again during the free activation days however my account is still "non playable". Maybe I've been inactive for too long, it has been over 3 years...

I'm currently at work.
You might want to watch the CoH servers or announcments on the website, as the reactivation usually starts after a patch has been applied. More then likely, you'll be able to play after 3pm EST the latest.

I'm in the same boat as you - even though they said reactivations started today, I cannot log in.

You did notice the big giant Mission Architect thing right before it, right?
This really sort of feels like a 14.5 (or, given MA was originally part of i13, 13.7?) - a short update so they can have one out for the anniversary.
