When creating an "Awesome Star Wars Meal" make sure you remember to add in a heaping helping of Wookiees, explosions and Bounty Hunters. Do this, and you'll have a winning formula to keep your readers/watchers/players interested in whatever it is you may be planning for their entertainment future.
Of course, make sure that you deliver on this stew with a main course that really packs of satisfying punch. You wouldn't want the rapid anger of a Star Wars fan to leap onto and assault your body in a fit of moist, fisty rage. Most, if not all of these cases do not end well, and require severe levels of ultimately fruitless medical attention.
Nobody wants that.
You can find issue five (and it's previous issues, of course) over at the official Star Wars: The Old Republic website. Enjoy.

Quite frankly, the amount of movie influence they are using in a game that is supposed to be set 3500 years prior to all of that is really sickening me.
It SO obvious that LucasArts has a heavy hand in this games production, and going for the money grab based on the believe that gamers want familiarity. In reality everything I see is making it feel like I've already played the game a million times, because its the SAME OLD CRAP.
Bioware needed to innovate for true success, making another Star Wars game based on "iconic" and "Star Warsy" imagery and motifs will fail - it will be stale almost instantly.

Even KotOR tied heavily to the movies. Carth Onasi was Han Solo, Zaalbar was was Chewbacca, M3-R4(I think that was its name) was R2-D2, HK-47 was a twisted evil C-3PO, and even Jolee Bindo was a jaded crazy Obi-Wan Kenobi. Maybe you noticed how the Sith Empire's ships in KotOR looked like Star Destroyers and TIE Interceptors?
KotOR was already heavily based on the 4000 years in the future movies and was awesome, why should doing the same with TOR make it horrible?

Dang Lethality, it's OK just take a deep breath and count to ten. The last time I checked Bioware was not sending imperials to your house and forcing you to play it at "laser point."
Play, it don't play it whatever. The great thing about MMOs now is that there are now way more types coming out. I'm sure you will be able to find one that does not disrupt your delicate balance of what is right and wrong in the world.

But Star Wars is sacred ground... many of use waited and waited and hoped that a new Star Wars MMO would be produced. Since they take years and years to develop, if this one blows it, we still won't see another Star Wars MMO for another 5-6 years, minimum. So... yea.
