I'm saddened to see that Max the Virtual Guide Dog didn't make it as a finalist. But looking over the projects that did, I think Virtual Ability should get it, without a doubt.

Not to diminish the efforts of the other finalists, but it's hard to imagine something that "elevates the human condition" more than allowing people with disabilities to learn, play, experience new things, and connect with other people all over the world through Second Life.
