For me Steam just makes everything easier at this point I am not sure I would buy a game for the PC if it was not through steam. I often go back to games that I had not played in a long while, but I don't tend to do this with MMOs as I lose the CDs and the digital download takes a small age but with Steam I get my full 1mbs and I never have to look for a CD again.
