Erm I don't think gwarf was being quite as facetious as you elude to.. RoM's art, design, and zones are most certainly worth a good-natured poke in the WoW-rib. C'mon.
Runes is really starting to take a slide in my eyes. Where once I was forgiving of it's many bugs, localisation issues, missing sound effects and economy, I'm now at a point where it's putting me off 'free-play-RMT' for good.
In my opinion, the developers (Runewaker) and vendors (Frogster in this case) are arrogant, shortsighted and extremely cash-greedy.
While I understand that a profit needs to be turned, they seem to be going about it in an incredibly short-sighted and aggressive manner.
Enough in fact, for me to become largely unhappy with the whole situation at large and uninstall, to move back to a fully paid sub in another game. (Uninstall being the only way to unsub/quit from a F2P!)
Shame really. It had promise (for me). If their vision was a little less short-term I would've stuck around. Ah well.
