Blizzard has been quiet so far. Nothing out of the ordinary has been posted on Worldofwarcraft.com yet.

WoW-Europe's P1mp my Mount page
Quake Live, while not an MMO, announced mounts, levels and microtransactions on it's welcome page.
WoWInterface did a "addons store" pic, where you buy addons ingame from blizzard.

This one isn't MMO, but thought it was pretty funny. When you've beaten Rock Band and Guitar Hero World Tour, settle in and play some Alpine Legend. (Lederhosen sold separately.)

Here's just a couple of little in-game pranks that I've heard about...

LOTRO has a new April Fool's day quest involving session play as a chicken and requiring you to run through the Ettenmoors from one location to another without being ganked... You start the session play at your nearest town crier, and as a reward you get the title ", Fool". Unfortunately this is for the US realms only as the EU realms have yet to publish Book 7 on their live servers (but there will be a chance to get the title once it is - yay!)

Guild Wars has replaced everyone's normal in-game avatar with a young child-like doll for the day. The result is very cute in my opinion...

From Blizzard's World of Warcraft site:

"The act of jubilant self-expression through dancing has long been an integral part of World of Warcraft's social interactions. Now it's been taken to a whole new level with the new Dance Battle system, coming to the game in an upcoming content patch. Combining elements of Arena competition with the dynamism and creativity of coordinated, player-controlled dance animations, Dance Battles offer a whole new kind of crew-versus-crew challenge.
So You Think You Can /Dance?
" " "
" " "

From the interdimensional fortress known as Tempest Keep, Kael'thas Sunstrider has issued a challenge far and wide to dance crews throughout Kalimdor, the Eastern Kingdoms, and Northrend -- in order to find out who is Azeroth's best dance crew!

He's handpicked his judges from nearby Area 52 in Outland and retrofitted his flying fortress for its new purpose -- to host a series of exhilarating dance-offs. He's also relocated his fiery, faithful companion A'lar and retooled the phoenix's chamber to accommodate the competition. It's here that your crew will find the NPC dancemasters, who will allow you to initiate a dance-off or accept another crew's challenge."

I'm going to call "shenanigans" on this one! April Fools!

Very funny, even though I've given up CoH/V a long time ago.

The spoof email post on the WoW front page seems to be done in a joke manner. Looks like they have run it through one of those programs were you enter key words (in this case sentences from a spoof email) to create a story.
