I love it. I can push the whole right half off the screen so I don't have to look at the ads.

Yay! I've been hoping this was in the works.

Could you bring back some kind of time-stamp on posts? Joystiq uses {30 minutes ago}, {3 hours ago}, {3 days ago}, etc.

Thanks again.

There is a relative time-stamp on the home page, and specific time stamps on the permalinks. If you're not seeing that, give the cache some time to propagate. (And/or shift-refresh).

Why does the image lead to some wedding photographers site?

We link back to the original source on all images. That's just where I found that one :)

Hmm, I think I like it. I'm not sure. Seeing the big red button just makes me want to push one now.

Nice! It's not too much of a difference but it does seem sleeker and user friendly. :D

Yay, another Weblog goes to a generic layout! Thanks, AOL, for making the web a more homogenous place.

3 columns really wasn't working, and was a strain on the eyes. This current layout is tried and true. As they say: if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Much more readable, though the body font still seems a little small. Have you experimented with bumping it up a bit, or perhaps lightening the background?

One thing I wish more sites had, is a widescreen toggle. As is, there is several inches of wasted space on either side of the screen.

Other than that, great redesign, much better!

Oh thank god. The whole "3 column" layout only really works well if you have a fluid stylesheet, definitely not with a fixed (I'm assuming) 960 px width. This definitely seems much more friendly to the eyes, all while keeping your classic theme. Props.

On a side note, I don't know if you changed this today, but it'd be really awesome if you consolidated the comments on multi-paged stories/articles. As it currently stands, the comments on page one of an article are different than those on ever other page.

Also, the whole having to reload the page to view the next set of 20 comments is a bit outdated. Spicing it up with some AJAX loading would just make my day...
