Here's a better (but less profitable) idea: just release us into Runescape in our overpowered mechs. Grinding problem solved! ;)

Are you sure that 'MechScape' is only a code name for the game?

I'm very interested in how they have taken a completely different approach with Mechscape to any other MMO that has ever been made. I am very curious to see how the game will work.

Yep! I'm absolutely positive that MechScape is the code name for the project, not the game's name itself. There has been some speculation on forums that this is some kind of April Fool's joke by us, or something like that. I assure you it's not :)

If MechScape is only a codename, this sucks for fansites. MechScapeWorld is working since 2007 on MechScape. All their work and dedication around MechScape could have been nothing.

I disagree it's not that hard to redirect all your traffic to a new domain name and let them end up at the right page. As long as they use a 301 redirect they should be alright.
