My noob pilot probed out his first wormhole today. But it said "this wormhole is unstable and unlikely to last a day" and I was too scared to poke my nose through it. :-)

I must say though the whole exploration probing system seems a lot more fun since its redesign in Apocrypha. The wormhole may have scared me off but I've probed out an archaeology site, a hidden asteroid belt and three Angel Cartel bases, including one with a captain in a Tech2 ship, which I'd never seen before. And this is just with a month-old character probing in a frigate with cheap gear and low skills.

As a player that left EVE about 6 months ago for various reasons, including that I was just bored out of my mind, this even drew me back to a certain extent.

Fired up a trial account, skilled up and hunted one of these wormholes down just the other day. (very much liking the new probe scanning now)
Poked my nose in for a little bit, found a small group of sleepers that promptly shot me in the face, taking my frig from 100% to 5% armor in a single shot from 85k away, in which I quickly ran away with my tail between my legs.

But it certainly got my heart racing again, and I can easily see myself spending potentially a lot of time rummaging around wormhole space in the future.
This may very well bring me back to EVE for an extended period of time.

Overall, I feels like a breath of fresh air in EVE. That, and all of the rest of the additions and changes to EVE make Apocrypha the best expansion I've seen for EVE yet. And its only going to get better.
