Before Burning Crusade came out, all World of Warcraft players had of Uther Lightbringer was lore and a grave in Andorhal. The addition of the Paladin class to the Horde with World of Warcraft's first expansion opened up the potential of giving both factions the chance to meet with the man (or at least his ghost) so crucial to the history of Azeroth.
