If its interplay, it'll fail hard. Possibly pull a Conan and have a ton of people buy in the first week thinking its a Bethesda MMO, then people leave in droves.

If its Bethesda, it'll be interesting, they've all but made an MMO in their past few games. Work in the massive and you could have a hit.

I would prefer an Elderscrolls MMO. But it would probably get lost in the crowd of fantasy MMO's.

I find this speculation unlikely. Zenimax's MMO division was formed a few years ago and I'd bet anything that the first MMO they make is Elderscrolls Online.
Simply because that's their trademark IP. Maybe they'll follow with a Fallout MMO later on.

When Interplay sold the Fallout IP they retained exclusive rights to the mmo. ZeniMax / Bethesda couldn't make Fallout Online if they wanted to. Go go Elder Scrolls!
