I love the PVE and the community the most. The quests are well written, and the LOTRO visuals are just beautiful!

The lore!

Without a doubt LoTRO is the most successful MMO I've played in regards to telling good yarn.

I love EVERYTHING about LOTRO, but if I had to pick one thing it'll be the lore.

In a time where "Fluff" content is being sold off dollar by dollar as micro-transactions and real money transfers, LOTRO is leading the way by keeping it part of your subscription. Instead of charging 4 bucks for a new house item, you are only limited by the effort you put into the game. Player effort is what seperates the players in LOTRO. They are not seperated by how much money they can pump into a character, or by how many headlines their alliances get on MMORPG sites. The player and their effort is the deciding factor and LOTRO makes sure we have many avenues to put that effort. Their rigorous schedule of free content updates is revolutionizing the game community, with many well financed MMO's taking this route as well. Gone are the expansion only inclusions of new zones and items, gone is the mentality that any content not payed extra for is wasted developer time. Their costume system is the envy and the basis for other later MMO's, and their game systems are being adopted even by the top MMO's. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and while some people copy other MMO's "art style" or their "whimsical humor", companies are copying LOTRO's cinematic story lines, and innovative game systems.

The best thing, for me, about Lotro is the amazing feel to the world. Everything is so immersive, and you truly feel as though you are a part (though a minor part) of the war of the ring. Everything from the great story, to the amazingly handcrafted world, and all the way down to the minor things. It's just a plain AAA MMO.

I love the community! One ofthe best, friendliest, and most helpful of any game I have played. Also the atmosphere and story draws you in and holds you. The graphics are also great.

I don't think I could pick just one think about LoTRO. Too many to choose from, and yes it does have its faults. But I think the most impressive thing about the game is the developer. The fact they spend a lot of time listening to their customers. All of them. And within time all of their pains will be healed. =P For those Creeps out there you'll find satisfaction one day. But as far as the game itself, probably the Lore, Outfit System, and LI System. Even though the latter needs to be kinked out.

I'm new to the game, (so forgive my opinion) but I think that the story is told really well. The instances really seperate your character from the rest of the world. I also think that the community is helpful and fun. I attended an in game fishing party Saturday that was riot.

The thing I love best about LoTRO is that Turbine puts out a quality product that they keep fresh with major updates every three or four months.

LotRO definitely has one of the better communities these days, people that stuck to the game for the right reasons and who do not flock to the latest hyped-up title that promises them a free poney. Add to that, it's truly a PvE game like there are fewer of as everybody and their dog is trying to grab that volatile Halo/CS-infected PvP niche market.

Well, I was going to say the Lore, but I know EVERYONE is saying the Lore. But still, the point remains.

Moreover, however, is the community. Especially on Landroval, the community - and the roleplay - is absolutely top notch.

Also, the Legendary weapon system is made of win and love.
