I'll somewhat agree with you. Recently the trend of new MMO's has been disappointing. And all of the older MMOs are beginning to show their age.

The reason I don't totally agree is because I can't afford to play EVERY MMO that comes out. While I've certainly played a good portion of them, I still have a limited income.

You're obviously a fan of MMO's. Otherwise you wouldn't be on this website. I would guess you played a game at one point that got you into the genre. What was it that you used to play? Give us a brief back story on moo.
