I want to believe that CCP Dropbear got his name from Nextwave. That is the best devname I have ever seen.

"Apocrypha expansion is very much focused on improving exploration."

Improved?! It takes more probes and time to scan something now on SiSi than it does on live, if that's just the test server great! On the eve of patch day (no pun intended) I don't think it'll be too different than SiSi.

Dude maybe you didn't log on for every patch that improved probing on Sisi to try and figure out how it works cos I sure did and now I can sniff out the most hidden of places in an hour or less.

I was on the test server today just a few hours before they shut it down. I don't know how far behind SiSi was though.

I'll admit, I don't have all the scanner skills to level 5 nor did I try every patch on SiSi. I heard it was much worse just a few weeks ago, but I just tried the last few from the past 5 days or so.

I'll also admit that since this a changed game mechanic I'll have to adjust to the "new" way of scanning down sites/objects. I'm sure I'll get better at it as time goes by, just like I did with the old system.

I didn't think the old system was that hard anyway and given time this one will become second nature. It doesn't seem easier than the old one at first glance. Perhaps for someone coming at it cold.
