I'm not really excited about any MMO's coming this year, since they all have subscription fees, and those are just drains of my money I could do without. I prefer to just play Guild Wars, and buy console/PC games, and use the money I saved NOT paying fees to upgrade my computer. I used to play a sub game, but I got bored of it, and for me, Guild wars is more polished and enjoyable. *waits for trolls to decend on comment and say "0mg u n00b, gW iz @ f2p game, even though u payed for the b0x"*

One game I was really excited about was Jumpgate Evolution. It initially seemed like the perfect game for me. However, after reading how the developers dumbed-down the game (no realistic death penalty, instanced PVP, no piracy!), I'm going to give it a pass. It's going to be another care-bear kind of game. Not for me.

I definitely will be giving Eve Online's new expansion a try when it comes out. I've never played Eve but, based on what I've read, it seems like a beautifully-crafted game with a great community to boot. Saw some screenshots and they look absolutely stunning. Made one my desktop background and I'm not even a player yet.

The one other mmo I was interested in is Global Agenda - but, alas, it's coming out next year. Can't wait for it.
