Feels like I wasted my money on darkfall when I first heard of AION... That game looks really amazing... wish I wouldn't have spend money on darkfall :(

Looks like North Kryta Province. A pretty nice looking environment but not so very extraordinary. If I'd choose something to be taken from the Guild Wars world it'd be the Kodash Bazaar with surrondings, and especially the floating trees really good looking.

Compared to other areas the area looks as good, but creativity felt lacking. In the end it still looks much much better than most other, if not all, MMOs that've been, or are going to be, released.

So folks, help me out here. Is Aion going to be like L2 or L1 or are they taking a different approach on this game?

Gorgeous zone!

MrGutts - Aion will NOT be like Lineage 2, or Lineage 1. It is a different franchise in it's entirety. They are focusing heavily on story, and quest progression. There will NOT be monster grinding like you found in Lineage. Aion has unparalleled character customization, as well.

There will be sieges and goal oriented PvP as well if that is your thing. (Think Warhammer, World of Warcraft)
