Yay for people's tax dollars going towards celebrating a game company, not to mention going towards unfairly advertising a private entity. What will they think up next?

And just how much tax do you think SOE have paid over the years and how much have they put into the economy?

The games industry makes more money than Hollywood.

I live in a country that won't even give game developers a tax break, despite claiming "media and high tech providers" will be the ones to help us recover from the recession, so I welcome the forward-thinking of San Diego's officials in their recognition of a company that's actually doing well under the current conditions and is proud to be home of a successful technology company.
