Poor San Diego, their city will now likely go into a major decline. We all know what happens to anything SOE is associates itself with.

In other news, SOE has declared that, in conjunction with city officials, a new set of New City Enhancements (NCE) will be set in place. Amongst these are the placement of video cameras on every street corner, a 7PM curfew enforceable by firing squads, and the closing of the city's public schools in favor of educational facilities not unlike those found in juvenile detention centers!

Sorry. I'm not bitter at all. :)

Whether you like EQ/SOE or not, 10 years online is quite the achievement for a MMORPG, lol.

Yay for people's tax dollars going towards celebrating a game company, not to mention going towards unfairly advertising a private entity. What will they think up next?

And just how much tax do you think SOE have paid over the years and how much have they put into the economy?

The games industry makes more money than Hollywood.

I live in a country that won't even give game developers a tax break, despite claiming "media and high tech providers" will be the ones to help us recover from the recession, so I welcome the forward-thinking of San Diego's officials in their recognition of a company that's actually doing well under the current conditions and is proud to be home of a successful technology company.

Get over yourselves people. This is quite a feat. A city should do what it can to recognize great effort by its people. 10 years of effort. At least they care enough to do it.

Where was San Diego when UO turned 10? Will AC get one in November?

YEY SOE for not having a single good mmorpg on the market and ones that once were good have been ruined!

Tbh I'd chase SOE out.
