From my T1-3 playing, it's a really fun class. It's hands down the best melee class Order has avail. Almost making the Withc Hunter useless, and certainly making the White Lion even less relivant then it already is.

Will it out damage the combo of the Choppa AND the Witch Elf dmg that Destro has? Hardly, but it gives more of a fighting chance for some burst dmg Healer Killing, which Order severly lacks.

How does it almost make the Witch Hunter "useless?" There is always a place for stealth attacks, especially on Destro healers and backline shooters.

I just mean in terms of dmg output.

Yes, WHs have their place, but the dmg the Slayer will deal will 'almost' make the stealth abiltiy insignificant. In certain cases, sure, very effective. But overall, Burst & high DPS dmg wins RvR. Currently, the WH and WL are barely able to out dmg a single healer.

Funny I always hear the complaint that witch elves are so superior to witch hunters. Having played both I found the witch elf is much more of a glass cannon than the hunter. Although they have the same armor etc it seems my witch hunter could at least get a few hits in after being focused, my witch elf disolved pretty fast. I am curious how the balance between choppa and slayer is going to go. The mythos of the slayer (e.g. Gotrek) is hugely popular and will likely lead to a ton of the little orange bastards running around. Choppas on the other hand will be popular to us old school table top players as the choppa units were the most fun to paint imho. Im guessing far more orange than green
