This game many be good or it may be crap, but NCSoft are selling it. After Tabula Rasa and Auto Assault however, anything that NCSoft are selling .... I'm not buying.

If that's some sort of reference to Tabula Rasa, you fail.

Whenever people stop playing, which sounds complicated considering they have around 700k accounts in Korea only and over 3M people registered for the chinese CB.

Says NCSoft on the box. I wont touch it with a 10 foot-pole. So long Greedy bastards...your time is almost up.
You can cancel it now.....make it easier on your 'future' players.

Go on....do it..pull the plug already!

Aion the Tower of Cancellation....we are sorry we didnt sell 15 million boxes like Blizzard did. To thank our players, we give you 2 free months play of City of heroes. Cheers !

Yeah, let's blame the investors, after all, they only gave more than 75M$ to destination games to get a shitty game nobody played.

Are you attempting to stick up for NCsoft after their poor business skills were shown in grossing detail last year?

If so....wow. If I misunderstood, disregard the above.

they will cancel it after one year when the developer is westerner and the game not making massive money, otherwise they will keep supporting it and even make it free to play if it fails.

Purely out of demographic curiousity, are some of you who say you won't touch an NCSoft game people who were burned by TR or AS, or are you just generally against their business practices?

Personally, just on my own past MMO history, I have more of a problem with how SOE treats their games and community than NCSoft. CoH has been my best MMO experience to date.

Then again, I'm still bitter at FOX for cancelling Firefly, so perhaps it's a lot like that. You take something offline, it's gonna make people upset.

Well, I'm one who's bitter about both AA and TR, though I suspect I'm in the minority. Honestly, I'm more mad at the players than NCsoft or Richard Garriott: there was absolutely no good press or word of mouth for TR until it was announced to be shut down, and now Massively posts two or three stories a day about it, and everyone's jumping on the bandwagon with "TR was ahead of its time", "TR will be missed". And of course everyone saying they won't touch another NCsoft product with a ten-foot pole will buy Guild Wars 2, especially if it lives up to its promise of a persistent world.

Never played either auto assault *just wasnt my kind of game* nor did I play TR.

I'm simply very much against the way they do business over there in NCsoft-land.

I played TR for a while, but it disappointed me for all the "could have been's". If they hadn't pushed it out after a short beta, nerfed progression speed to keep players from seeing content gaps, and canned it when it finally got things right, it would have been one of the best games on the market. Follow that up with the fact that they seem to only care for the asian market and get way too much credit for CoX success(Cryptic made that game what it is), then you have an arrogant puppet master that pulls all the wrong strings.

Actually, since Arenanet runs the servers, makes the ads, and creates the game, Guild Wars 2 isn't actually an NCsoft game. It's a game that NCsoft sponsors and makes profit off of. I don't really like NCsoft, but I play Guild Wars, and I'll buy GW2. Why? Because I like Arenanet. They're open with fans (Most of the time) and they have a more general all-around awesomeness. Aion looks like a great game, but if it has a really big subscription fee, I won't buy it. And in all truth, I'd rather wait for GW2.

Wow...ya'll are negative.

I don't see this game getting canceled. It's massively successful overseas right now, and people who have played it from over here are saying nothing but positive things about it. I for one will be trying it out.
