Dev-awarded content? No thanks, no way, no how. Strike this off the list of games I'll ever try.

Well, it's only cosmetic so it's not like it has any affect on the game world whatsoever (other than "bragging rights"). That being said, EA & Mythic are pretty big on giving away in-game perks for out-of-game activities and purchases.

Whatever it takes to keep your current subscribers happy, and maybe recruit a few more along the way.

If that's enough that you would never try the game then you are either a pretty weak troll or were never going to try it in the first place.

Incentives to actually test on test servers are sadly needed pretty bad. most people treat test servers as the place to find an ultimate build or get that two hour jump on the latest techniques for the current FotM class...so they decided to give people a reason to actually test on their test server...which will result in a more polished, complete and balanced class as opposed to fixing it all in the next couple of patches because it didn't get enough testing.

Of course, if that was the case, you'd be complaining about that instead.

MASSIVE drop offs of War players these days on Xfire.

The game was even out of the top 20 and it got to 3.300 Xfire players on last saturday.

That is almost at 20% of the record breaking 16 K 5 monhs ago (end of Sep).

I hope they shoff it into the shoes of hyper-ball Mark Jacobs, the man that would take on the fight "gloves are off" (as he said it) with the Blizzard people. I 've never seen anyone from Blizzard acting like this (except perhaps Bill Roper - also an XXX hole).

A mediocre game from a mediocre man.

2 ex-deleted classes and all the hype of the world will not make War any better.

The game lore from GW deserved MUCH MUCH better than a lunatic who thinks MMORPG's = Battlegrounds.
