Everything but the Age of Conan game in that package is great. No offense, but Funcom's issues they had at launch and the 4-6months following have shown that playing their game, even free, is not worth the hassle. Now, I don't mind their old game like Dreamfall and The Longest Journey (in fact, I've got a signed GOTY edition of Dreamfall in my game collection), but when it comes to networked MMO games, they just cannot get their heads on straight.

Don't know when you last played but a lot of the bugs have been fixed. The client is pretty stable now, and what it lacks now is probably good content. Patch next week will add some.

And this rig will run AoC on max.

I think Funcom owe everybody that bought their "game" a free PC for the pain having to experience that piece of shit caused.

I didn't play at launch, and maybe it served me best.

I only started playing 2 months ago, and I just don't run into any bugs at all now. The PvP is fun (still needs work though), Raids are great, and it's overall a pretty polished game, albeit a little content light.

I can't comment about how AoC was at launch, but for people that didn't play then, and haven't tried it yet (or did play, but don't hold grudges and can take an open minded second look), you're missing out.

You think the concept of "early adopters" from all products especially electronics would be carried over to MMOs. lol

NO MMO is perfect on the way out, and it may ruin the game for some people who don't understand this.
Even after launch, it takes time to make it a well running machine.

Nobody expected AoC to be "perfect." But we did expect to at least get a game you could, you know, actually play, have fun with and get your money's worth from.

Oh and it would have been nice if it had actually included the content Funcom promised and listed on the box and in all their promos.

Remind me, when is DX10 support going live?
