Chronicles of Spellborn is NOT a FTP MMO.
You are free to try out the game until lvl 7, but after that if you want to continue to play you have to pay for a monthly subscription.

Or Italy, for that matter. Or Spain.
As far as I know TCoS was released only in some EU countries: Germany, France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
And for all the others (including US and UK) no official release date yet.

If it is live with paying customers, what beta is needed here in the US? Are they going to maintain 2 different codebases? I doubt it.

Weird.

Of course it is NOT free to play. I see the sub cards here right in front of me.

But calm down, it is only natural massively guys try to push every new mmo to hold on to their jobs in 2009...

The first 3 months are free yes, but even then it isn't being played and being a Dutch product and getting 70% from Dutch gaming magazines shows it will not be played much either.

Free or not.
