...Have you ever even played Everquest? What described is pretty much it's opposite.

Good EFF'ing riddance. No joke, he's one of many reasons why I no longer play WoW. I played it, it was fun in its vanilla form, then the expansions came along and it only got worse than better. They are pressured into releasing expansions every two years now, so the quality of the product isn't nearly up to Blizzard standards that set as precedent. The expansions have sucked, TBC was worthless, a stop gap expansion, and WotLK is like... EASY MODE on. They introduced Death Knights and pretty much everyone is playing them because they were designed to be fun, unlike the other classes.

Again, good riddance to 'Mr. Everquest Was the greatest MMO designed ever!'.

I hope WAR pumps out more and better content. It did right off the bat, but screwed up by having too many servers at launch. Soon enough it'll maintain a better player base than the sheep filled throng of WoW fanboi's.

So apparently you've been playing a different game from a good ninety percent of WoW's audience.

If you like a game where you have to show up like a job to do your part in the raid so that you can get paid - maybe - once a month with a drop then Kaplin is your man!

Thank goodness other MMOs are moving away from the crazy ass second-job raid game.

That, and the fact that WAR's content is absolutly awful. Unless, of course you like dungeon content that consists of nothing but gear checks with tank-and-spank boss encounters and RvR, which actually means zerging undefended keeps over and over again while your enemies take yours from behind you.

Yeah, WAR definitly has better content.

Never been big on WoW, but I wonder what Blizzard will do next. I do like their other games!

World of Warcraft is truly a classic any way you slice it. It was my first MMORPG and at this point, it's still the best in my mind (even though I quit a while after The Burning Crusade and have retired for good).

My hope is that Blizzard will make something NEW... and not WoW 2; not saying they shouldn't make WoW 2 at some point... but for their second effort... I want to see some creativity and something completely different from WoW. They seem to be aiming for that which is good.

Seems like they said the MMORPG is not based on any of their existing IP's (Diablo, Warcraft, StarCraft, Lost Vikings) which is also something I've wanted to see out of Blizzard for a while... a completely new IP.

Also... ahem... IF and when Blizzard does make World of StarCraft... please use Tabula Rasa's combat system as inspiration... that would be.... AWESOME.
