Official forums are the way to go. In the past the Mods for WA forums at least have gone way over the line with carpet 30 day bans of productive members of their forums for simply voicing opinions on the path Mythic was taking with the game.

Not to mention that for a long while only the Vault forums were even being followed by Mythic.

On Official forums the people that post are paying subscribers, all information is in one location and the disconnect that at least myself and friends that play/ed Warhammer felt.

Warhammer would be in a lot better shap right now if they had official forums from the beginning IMO.

So you really think that Daoc not having OF made the game worse? Mythic is a company that truly listens to their player base. Up until now Mythic has never had OF and they have been fine. However due to game play bugs and just lack of content Mark decides to change his mind.

Not to mention Mythic layed off employees to make room for the massive amount of time and money to make OF. Since now you have to have servers and people to pay to watch and maintain. Or you can have the community run the show and not have to spend a dime.

That money then go to development of new projects or extra staffing.

So you think that because WoW has OF the game is better for it? The whole place is just a giant whine fest. Sure having a paid sub would help with this but I doubt it will truly improve the game because of it.
