Just to save someone the expensive mistake, you cant fuel a POS from a jumpfreighter if the POS is offline. The initial fueling needs to be done by another ship.

Right, but all you need is one hour's worth of fuel to put the POS online so you can split that among your combat ships and send them into the wormhole ahead of the jump freighter. Hcances are the jump freighter with its enormous mass will collapse the wormhole.
