I could see this as being viable.... but I still want a subscription model too.

I guess it depends on the game.

Guilty? No, I feel like an idiot, and then I cancel.

Would kill for a per-hour rate. I've had months I haven't logged in, and still paid for the time, because things were simply busier than expected.

Meanwhile, I'll be over here, hugging Guild Wars' business model.

No, I prefer to play knowing I can never spend more than $15 a month on it. Some days I can never play but then others I can play for the whole day. I dont want to worry about how many "hours" I have left. $15 isn't much, and the savings would be negligible.
