Forums builld community and, in turn, help retain players... Mark is a smart guy, I'm surprised it took so long for him to figure this out.

Indeed they do. If WAR had started with an official forum, I would probably still be playing it. I left to find a game that cared about their community. I'm guessing Mythic is becoming a little concerned about their retention numbers right now. I enjoyed the game but it just seemed somewhat lacking.

Totally agree. Having multiple unofficial forums lead to too much confusion, it makes much more sense to have a single place for official information.
