The folks at GOA put together an extremely thorough strategy guide for RvR teamplay in Warhammer Online. It covers all the basics from how to form a group to suggesting various ideal career combinations, but it doesn't end there. They're just getting warmed up!
The guide discusses the pros of assigning a group leader and lays out some general guidelines a good leader should follow. It also suggests how a strong group will follow that leader while remaining alert for danger and constantly communicating with each other. Strategic offensive and defensive positioning for various career archetypes is covered in depth. The guide suggests that as important as it is for you to know the roles of you and your allies, it is equally as important to study your enemy and learn their various strengths and weaknesses. Last, but certainly not least, the author runs the reader through various group tactics as complex as you'd find on any whiteboard in an NFL team's locker room!
Warhammer Online is ultimately striving for mass market appeal, but its core is that of a realm vs. realm (many players vs. many players) gaming experience. The RvR teamplay guide is an excellent starting point for anyone who wants give this MMORPG a try but is slightly timid about RvR or PvP. It's also fantastic for any current WAR subscriber.

Mr Angry's Guide to RvR
1) Spend hours upon hours desperately trying to get enough players within 20 levels to agree to group and agree on a common goal.
2) Deal with the shitty attitude of these players while trying to make sure you are still focused on the same goal.
3) Determine that having healers is overrated, and proceed with RvR regardless being the only person will to play a healer and actually heal others.
3) After insta-traveling right to the zone to find there is no one to fight and climb the stairs, kill the boss plus adds then capture that keep. This part is easy, it's always the same, do it once, you can do it blindfold...
4) Keep zoning as your group slowly fragments, to try and find at least someone to fight.
5) Finally find a raid to fight, REAL RVR!!!!! So you approach their keep and everyone in the raid tries to jump on the battering ram, while groups of at least 10 players follow one solo player trying to score a kill as you get pummel from above. Every player in your raid will type or shout 'Attack the f*cking door idiots'
6) At last, you are in the keep, kill the afk players in one shot, BUT there are real people to fight, how exciting!!!
Now think about doing this, keeping everything together with all those people in a relatively small room!
You can't even identify your group, everyone of the same class looks identical, let alone the raid! So classes just spam skills over and over, in the hope it make more difference to the outcome than the other team.
7) ....Now think about doing 6) while your screen updates every 1-2 seconds.... and while everyone on vent recounts their same technical issues over and over and over. You decide not to heal the loudest people, and anyone who sounds six years old.
8) Just as you miraculously make some sort of progress, watch as you are disconnected from the server and back to the character selection screen!
9) Log back on about 30 minutes later, to find that everyone involved with your group are now complaining about wasted time, and are now even further entrenched in grinding scenarios...
The end
Just wanted to add a bit of balance to today's WAR day, I'm sure my fans will appreciate the chance to correct me on this!

Unfortunately it was nothing else than a (misinformed) flame attempt from the usual antifanboy that knows zero about the game and can't stand the fact that things are going well despite his trolling.
In any case, UltimateQ, I have a couple recruits available. if you need one come to the #warhammeronline channel on the irc server irc.sorcery.net and leave me a query with your email. I'll recruit you.

Abrial, I don't know what magical game your playing, but what Mr. Angry just posted, tongue-in-cheek or not, is dead-on how it is on most realms I've played on.
Pull your head out of the sand and acknowledge the problems with this game. Going around like an idiot puppet letting Mythic think all things are rosy is no way to get things FIXED.

I think Mr Angry is not the fanboy here this type of problem he is talking about is a clear issue in Warhammer online and some other mmos!
And the fact that in Warhammer "Everyone of the same class looks the same" is true as well and comes out clear from all the youtube videos!

Warhammer is more about having as many healers and as big group as possible than it is about flanking players... Mostly so because there's no reason to attack anyone in the back or the sides, and the only class really capable of causing a surprise is the WH or WE. The best tactic is if you can get to their healers, but that's about as complicated as it gets.
