I'd have roleplayed in Warhammer if the damned world didn't feel like a silent movie. Nobody ever talked to anyone else except for the infrequent grunted command by some self-appointed leader during a scenario run.

I rather enjoyed the game, but there was so little community there, I couldn't stand it and quit.

I just reactivated my account after quitting 2 months ago or so, and what you've said is the same now as it was when I quit. It's hard to get into an MMO, when the second 'M' is painfully silent or not worth interacting with. I'll give it a shot for a few more days, but at this rate, I may have just flushed $14 down the toilet...again. This my second reactiactivation of my account, and I'm just not seeing any progress made with this game -AT ALL-, other than adding two completely uninteresting tank classes.

Shame, really.

I don't think roleplaying in Warhammer Online would really be that easy because not only is it a complete parody of what Warhammer is about but it gets a lot of the little details wrong that would be important to roleplaying too. Like for instance, there should only be five or so dwarven Slayers in the world at any one time. They're just not that common. And yet there's a beach in the game where there's about 20. It gets so many things about Warhammer wrong it's not even funny.

Warhammers "great" auto grouping system bit them in the butt now and this game is almost like play a single player game and sometimes group up with npcs to complete some quests.... Warhammer people fix the community first!

*What* community? On Ungrim, it's flat non-existent. I've been playing off and on all day, and I've yet to have one scenario pop, or even see someone speak in the region chat. Actually, scratch that, someone asked a question, and when I went to answer them after no one else responded for a minute or so...that person had already logged off.

The thinnest book in the world?

Apart from Italian war heroes, it must be role playing hints for WAR.

"Have a chair and sit down, then take a nap on the bed and later have some nice talking in that bar."

Impossible in WAR the mmo, (pls leave out the RPG part).

WAR is the ONLY mmo I know where you really have to imagine stuff, just like a pen and paper rpg of 20 years ago.

For instance you have to "imagine" taking a flight path (the only thing you see is an animated loading screen of you rapped on a sort of helicopter (which doesn't exist in War lore btw and nothing like the dwarf machines).
You see ... you have to imagine that you flew...

You do "epic" fights over Keeps... the problem is Keeps stay intact. Only a door is knocked upon and you can enter.
Not a scratch on the Keep...

I rather play pencil&paper DD than play this kind of game as a RPG.

Oh, I 'll say it once again: Mythic killed the complete Lore of Warhammer TT armies. I don't think someone could do it worse (although Mark of Chaos comes a close second).

Grtz.
