Runes of Magic, the new free-to-play fantasy MMO from German publisher Frogster, has just announced its official launch for March of this year. The game has enjoyed a productive closed and open beta for several months now, and the news of a launch coming so soon should surprise no one who has been playing throughout that beta.
In fact, make that 300,000 someones playing the beta. The game has received some well-deserved buzz lately, and this launch should be an exciting time for fans waiting anxiously to play "for real." Be sure to keep your eye here for more info on the game as the launch date approaches.

I have been pleasantly surprised by this game. Sure it stole a lot from WoW, but with the dual class system, dailies from the get go and a focus on quests more then the grind it has a lot going for it.
In fact I've never played a free MMO that was as busy as this one (Aside form MMOs flooded with farmers spamming trade)

I have enjoyed playing in the beta. In fact, I think I'll log in right now!
I can't believe a game this good is free.
