Wrath of the Lich King ranks in Edge's top games for 2008

The list isn't too bad overall, but Tomb Raider: Underwold's placement on it certainly strikes me as bizarre.

Why?

I would have added Tomb Raider Underworld to my fictional list, if I had one. Its quite a bit better than lots of other games getting higher reviews this year. And its a good game. Ofcourse, one of the favourite games I've ever played was TR2 on my playstation 1.

However, lists like this is pure subjective. So it doesn't matter.

I think this is awesome to hear. The expansion is Blizzard's best work to date (with WoW anyways) and definetly deserves recognition. I do agree with bob that this list is pure subjective, but it still gives an idea on what people should be looking into from last year. Good job Edge.

Any top 30 game listing of this type that *omits* LotRO and places WotLK at 16 = FAIL, imo.

When I saw some of the games that DID make the list, I just had to laugh and say, "Yeah, right. What planet are you people living on?"
