A wonderful screen which really shows one of lotro's many qualities: unrivalled visuals. (AoC is instanced so it doesn't count :p) I wish the screenshot was taken at night though, so we could see Forochel's northern lights in all their glory. Truly one of my MMO jaw-dropping experiences. Hmmm maybe I'll send one in.

Are you serious? Have you seen the trees and foliage in AOC? They're 2-D. Its like trees from DOOM way back in 1993 haha. You move and they don't change perspective.

LOTRO, now that's some trees and foliage.

When I was playing LOTRO actively...i had dozens and dozens of random pictures from the game. It was breathtaking in its beauty sometimes.

The link for the full-size shot is empty. Could you relink it?

Hrm. For some reason it absolutely will not connect the link from our servers, despite the file being there. I'll put it on my personal server so you can (right-click-save-as) snag it from there as a temporary measure until we can get our techs to figure out why it isn't working properly.

Best I can really offer, I'm afraid. Been poking at it all morning, but I can't figure out where the break is between the two.

I'm amazed at how little recognition LOTRO receives for its visuals. It's a beautiful-looking game. I love the leafy lanes of the Trollshaws or the incredible view of Rivendell. And Evendim still impresses me to this day.
