You can't buy or sell gold using station cash. The items on there so far are all no-trade and consist of XP potions (like the veteran reward ones), appearance armour sets and non-combat pets.

He's right that there's nothing game-breaking in there but I think reactions people have had to it are justified. I think the impression people are getting with this (especially after they kept trying to push LON at us) is that they're being milked for cash. It's a little unpleasant.
