Making money is not difficult in LOTRO. I have yet to read the guide but here are the basics: 1) pick up everything and vender it, 2) sell raw resources when you don't need them, and 3) specialize in 1-2 skills and keep selling everything you can that sells. When an items stops being profitable move on to another. Finally, 4) make love to the Auction House. Resell from the AH when you can. Visit it often. I have made about 104 gold without much effort. Right Now, as I level, it's the last thing on my mind but once I hit 60 it will be central and when you focus on it...you can make a lot.

Now let's have a money-making guide for Guild Wars. Out of all the MMOs I've ever played, that seems to be the one where I'm constantly broke.

It's not just you, it's the fact that GW doesn't have an AH so it is very hard to make money in comparison to other MMO's. You either have to grind, spam channels to sell or spam channels to run people through missions.

Either way it's a PITA to make money in GW.

As for the topic at hand, I find that Historians and Tinkers make a killing in LOTRO. I'm a metalsmith but I did that to make my own armour. If I wanted to go where the $$ is I'd go Historian/Tinker because everyone needs Athelas pots and hope tokens.
