Ok so I can choose between run around in a never ending Mine? or enjoy the great storyline and brand new instance and pvp and brand new Hero class well I not known...

Moria is pretty epic. I went with Wrath for now, but don't knock the awesome that is an entire underground semi-continent.

MoM also incliudes 2 new player classes and a large outdoor zone in addition to everything in the mines.

Also, you cant really compare WoW's Storyline to LOTR, seriously.
